Accounts Assistant – Falmouth – Temporary
💰 Pay: £15.00 – £18.64 per hour (incl. holiday pay)
📍 Location: Falmouth – Office based (with up to 1 day WFH per week)
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, early Friday finish on offer)
📅 Start: ASAP – interim cover

Are you available immediately and ready to jump into a busy finance team? Able to hit the ground running and get up to speed quickly? We’re working on a temporary Accounts Assistant opportunity offering an immediate start to bridge the gap between someone leaving and the recruitment of a permanent hire.

Carrington Wood is working with a respected Falmouth-based organisation that needs an interim Accounts Assistant to provide crucial support during a handover period. This role would suit someone who’s confident, organised, and happy to muck in where needed. There's also the potential for a temp-to-perm move for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Managing account reconciliations
✔ Supporting with transactional finance and month-end duties
✔ Collaborating with colleagues across departments
✔ Getting involved with ad hoc tasks, including some that fall outside of finance – it’s a true team environment
✔ Helping to keep finance processes ticking over efficiently and accurately 

What We’re Looking For:
💡 AAT qualified or experienced within a similar finance role
💡 Someone confident in picking things up quickly with minimal hand-holding
💡 A reliable team player who enjoys a varied and fast-paced workload
💡 Practice experience would be handy, but not essential
