Supply Chain Manager – Truro – Permanent
💰 Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
📍 Location: Truro
🕒 Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work as required)

Are you an experienced supply chain professional with a passion for planning, logistics, and operational excellence?
Looking for a hands-on role where you can have a direct impact on production efficiency and stock availability in a fast-paced FMCG environment?

We’re seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our high-performing operations team, ensuring optimal material flow, zero stock-outs, and efficient production support across the site.

🔎 What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Stock & Inventory Management – Oversee and manage all raw materials, packaging, finished goods and merchandise on site
✔ Procurement – Place timely orders for materials in line with supplier lead-times to ensure uninterrupted production
✔ Inbound Planning – Coordinate incoming deliveries and liaise with suppliers to confirm dates and reduce risk of delays
✔ Scheduling – Develop efficient production plans and schedules, working closely with cross-functional teams
✔ Reporting – Generate data-driven reports covering plan vs. actual performance, supplier metrics, at-risk stock, and inventory costs
✔ CHEP & Logistics – Manage CHEP pallet movements and collaborate with customers on empty keg returns
✔ Stock Control – Conduct accurate stock-takes, improve rotation, and minimise waste through efficient utilisation
✔ Admin & Compliance – Raise purchase orders, carry out ad hoc administrative tasks, and support Directors as needed

🌟 What We’re Looking For:
💡 Previous experience in supply chain planning, buying, or stock control – ideally in Food, Drink or FMCG
💡 Confident managing fast-paced and seasonal demand challenges
💡 Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments and with external suppliers
💡 Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems
💡 Warehouse or forklift experience desirable
💡 CIPS Level 4 qualification preferred but not essential
