Payroll Assistant – Plymouth – Temporary to Permanent
💰 Salary: Up to £28,500 per annum (Hourly Rate Equivalent)
⏳ Hours: Full-time (37.5)
📍 Location: Plymouth

We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Assistant to join a proactive and friendly team within a leading business. You’ll be working in a busy and varied role, handling payroll processing while also getting involved in finance-based projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Processing timesheets and payroll data accurately and efficiently.
✔ Managing payroll queries, ensuring prompt resolution.
✔ Collaborating on finance projects, working closely with the Finance leadership team.
✔ Supporting the wider finance team with additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

💡 Payroll experience with a strong understanding of payroll processes.
💡 Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
💡 Good communication skills – you'll be liaising with internal teams.
💡 IT proficiency, particularly with payroll and finance systems.
