Credit Controller – Exeter – Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)

💰 Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
⏳ Contract: Fixed-term (approx. 12 months)
📍 Location: Exeter (Hybrid Working)

We’re on the lookout for a Credit Controller to join a proactive and friendly finance team. You’ll be working in a busy and varied role, managing the collection and processing of client payments while ensuring compliance with legal procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Proactively collecting and processing client payments.
✔ Supporting colleagues to ensure prompt bill payments.
✔ Liaising with the Debt Recovery Team to ensure compliance.
✔ Managing and resolving credit control queries efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

💡 Previous credit control experience (professional services background preferred but not essential).
💡 Strong interpersonal and client care skills.
💡 Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills.
💡 Organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
💡 A team player with a flexible, solutions-focused mindset.
