Assistant Accountant – Penryn – Temporary (initially circa 2 - 3 months)
💰 Pay: £15 - £19 per hour (including holiday pay), depending on experience
📍 Location: Penryn
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, early Friday finish on offer)

Carrington Wood is pleased to be supporting a respected and busy organisation as they look to add an Assistant Accountant to support their finance team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to jump into a hands on finance role, keep things running smoothly, and gain valuable exposure across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Managing account reconciliations
✔ Assist in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts 
✔ Supporting with transactional finance and month-end duties
✔ Collaborating with colleagues across departments
✔ Getting involved with ad hoc tasks, including some that may fall outside of finance
✔ Helping to keep finance processes ticking over efficiently and accurately

What We’re Looking For:

💡 Previous experience in a finance role (practice background beneficial, but not essential)
💡 AAT qualification would be desirable, but not essential
💡 A proactive, reliable team player who enjoys being busy and helping out wherever needed
💡 Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
